\n\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\tA born restaurateur\t\t\t<\/h5>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\tOLIVER WENDEL\t\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\n<\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\nOliver grew up in a musical parish house. He discovered his deep passion for hospitality through his French mother, as well as through organising numerous community events.<\/h4>\n
Oliver trained in hotels, as well as working as Ma\u00eetre Restaurateur at the Bailliage de Haute-Bavi\u00e8re of the Confr\u00e9rie de la Cha\u00eene des R\u00f4tisseurs International Association of Gastronomy. He has also worked internationally, including for private events for celebrities, successfully managing the high-end Villa Merton restaurant in Frankfurt, and organising VIP hospitality at the World Expo 2000 and the World Cup.<\/p>\n
With almost 30 years of hotel and hospitality experience under his belt, Oliver is now finally realising his lifelong dream of running an Augustiner tavern!<\/p>\n

More recently, Barbara was part of the team at the Aumeister tavern in Munich\u2019s English Garden where she became truly immersed in traditional tavern culture. Today, Barbara\u2019s typical Rheinland cheer makes her the natural hostess at the Platzl.<\/p>\n

KCurrently, we\u2019re open during the week from 11.30 a.m. to 10 p.m., starting slightly earlier on Saturdays at 11 a.m. We\u2019re closed on Sundays at the moment. Our kitchens are open for hot food until 10 p.m.Come and join us in our traditionally Bavarian tavern bar! Our bar still serves Augustiner Helle lager from wooden barrels, just like the Augustiner monks used to do \u2013 a highlight for any beer connoisseur! He discovered his deep passion for hospitality through his French mother, as well as through organising numerous community events.<\/h4>\n
Oliver trained in hotels, as well as working as Ma\u00eetre Restaurateur at the Bailliage de Haute-Bavi\u00e8re of the Confr\u00e9rie de la Cha\u00eene des R\u00f4tisseurs International Association of Gastronomy. He has also worked internationally, including for private events for celebrities, successfully managing the high-end Villa Merton restaurant in Frankfurt, and organising VIP hospitality at the World Expo 2000 and the World Cup.<\/p>\n
With almost 30 years of hotel and hospitality experience under his belt, Oliver is now finally realising his lifelong dream of running an Augustiner tavern!<\/p>\n

More recently, Barbara was part of the team at the Aumeister tavern in Munich\u2019s English Garden where she became truly immersed in traditional tavern culture. Today, Barbara\u2019s typical Rheinland cheer makes her the natural hostess at the Platzl.<\/p>\n

He discovered his deep passion for hospitality through his French mother, as well as through organising numerous community events.<\/h4>\n
Oliver trained in hotels, as well as working as Ma\u00eetre Restaurateur at the Bailliage de Haute-Bavi\u00e8re of the Confr\u00e9rie de la Cha\u00eene des R\u00f4tisseurs International Association of Gastronomy. He has also worked internationally, including for private events for celebrities, successfully managing the high-end Villa Merton restaurant in Frankfurt, and organising VIP hospitality at the World Expo 2000 and the World Cup.<\/p>\n
With almost 30 years of hotel and hospitality experience under his belt, Oliver is now finally realising his lifelong dream of running an Augustiner tavern!<\/p>\n

More recently, Barbara was part of the team at the Aumeister tavern in Munich\u2019s English Garden where she became truly immersed in traditional tavern culture. Today, Barbara\u2019s typical Rheinland cheer makes her the natural hostess at the Platzl.<\/p>\n

KCurrently, we\u2019re open during the week from 11.30 a.m. to 10 p.m., starting slightly earlier on Saturdays at 11 a.m. We\u2019re closed on Sundays at the moment. Our bar still serves Augustiner Helle lager from wooden barrels, just like the Augustiner monks used to do \u2013 a highlight for any beer connoisseur! Oliver trained in hotels, as well as working as Ma\u00eetre Restaurateur at the Bailliage de Haute-Bavi\u00e8re of the Confr\u00e9rie de la Cha\u00eene des R\u00f4tisseurs International Association of Gastronomy. He has also worked internationally, including for private events for celebrities, successfully managing the high-end Villa Merton restaurant in Frankfurt, and organising VIP hospitality at the World Expo 2000 and the World Cup.<\/p>\n
With almost 30 years of hotel and hospitality experience under his belt, Oliver is now finally realising his lifelong dream of running an Augustiner tavern!<\/p>\n
