At the Augustiner am Platzl, we don’t turn our backs on tradition. This philosophy is reflected in our tavern’s traditional furnishings, our team’s Bavarian costume, and the outstanding beer we serve from wooden barrels – not to mention our use of regional ingredients and produce. The vast majority of our products are sourced from local farmers and regional suppliers. When choosing our suppliers and business partners, we consider a whole host of criteria, including the use of sustainable farming methods. We recognise that selecting regional produce and working with local partners is an effective way of reducing our impact on the environment and climate change.
